Works with the national government, representatives of civil society and the mass media of Armenia, to promote better governance, democracy, the protection of human rights and sustainable environmental practices in the country.  It works with the Armenian Government in the framework of the latter’s commitments to the OSCE and Council of Europe and contributes to strengthening the EU-Armenia relationship.

Visa Section

Regional Entry Clearance Manager - Jane Scott (based in Moscow)

Regulates entry to the UK through a firm and fair visa service.  The section provides advice and information, in Armenian and English, on all aspects of the UK’s immigration requirements.

Defence Section

Defence Section Head - HMA Charles Lonsdale
Defence Attache – Sergey Mirzoyan

Works closely with the Armenian Ministry of Defence maintaining a dialogue between the UK and Armenia on defence matters and offering training and development to the Armenian armed forces.

Consular Section

HMA Consul - Gareth Wynn-Owen

Provides assistance to British nationals in and visiting Armenia.
