Call for Bids

The British Embassy in Yerevan and the Strategic Programme Fund Reuniting Europe launched the bidding round for 2010.

The programme objectives are:

To increase political transparency and good governance
(Indicators)

  1. Legal and institutional checks and balances that improve transparency in political and economic policy making and implementation established and in operation
  2. Mechanisms and skills developed and functioning that enable citizens to engage with elected political candidates/representatives and so participate in local and national
  3. Media capacity to act as an agent for transparency and accountability developed and mobilised

To Strengthen Reforms in the Justice Sector and promote Human Rights
(Indicators)

  1. Mechanisms established and operational capacity developed to increase transparency of and public confidence in the judicial system
  2. Mechanisms in place and functioning, and capacity building undertaken to promote inclusiveness and a voice for marginalised groups, meet international human rights standards, and safeguard rights of vulnerable groups in the justice system

Applications for funding

To apply for funding in 2010, the following procedures and deadlines are applied:

  • Concept Bids should be submitted to the British Embassy Yerevan by November 9, 2009, 10:00 am
  • Project budget should be between £40.000 - £80.000 for one year (For large projects two years can be considered)
  • Proposals should be submitted using the form from the link below
  • It is encouraged to use the expertise from the new EU member states
  • The preliminarily selection results will be announced in January 2010. If your concept bid is approved, you will be asked to submit the full bid by 5 February 2010.
  • The Embassy’s fiscal year starts in April 2010 and ends in March 2011. Your projects should be in line with our fiscal year
