DFID in Armenia
The Department for International Development (DFID) works to eliminate poverty and encourage economic growth by supporting projects tailored to Armenia’s needs
Defence section
The Defence sections maintains dialogue between the UK and Armenia on defence matters and runs projects, such as training of cadres for the Armenian Peacekeeping Brigade and improving English language skills for the military
Embassy projects
Each year we fund projects within the Embassy's priorities. For 10/11, the projects cover Conflict Resolution, Good Governance and European Integration.
British Council
The British Council is the UK's international non-political organisation for educational opportunities and cultural relations.
Human Rights
In Armenia we regularly discuss Human Rights issues with the Armenian Government and the Human Rights Defender, and regularly meet representatives of civil society groups.
