Please ring the Embassy switchboard number and get the current duty officer telephone number from the message: If calling within Armenia: (010) 26 43 01. If calling from outside Armenia: +374 10 26 43 01. Please note that to call the Duty Officer mobile number within Armenia dial 091 followed by the telephone number. The mobile phone network in Armenia can be overloaded at times. If you do not get through the first time, keep trying.

Embassy's Political Sections promotes in Armenia the policies and interests of Her Majesty’s Government and acts as interlocutor between London and Yerevan in government-to-government business.

Press and Public Affairs Section

Communications Manager – Maria Sadoyan

Works with the national government, representatives of civil society and the mass media of Armenia, to promote better governance, democracy, the protection of human rights and sustainable environmental practices in the country.  It works with the Armenian Government in the framework of the latter’s commitments to the OSCE and Council of Europe and contributes to strengthening the EU-Armenia relationship.

Visa Section

Regional Entry Clearance Manager - David Haxton (based in Istanbul)

Regulates entry to the UK through a firm and fair visa service.  The section provides advice and information, in Armenian and English, on all aspects of the UK’s immigration requirements.

Defence Section

Defence Relations Officer/Assistant to Defence Attache – Sergey Mirzoyan

Works closely with the Armenian Ministry of Defence maintaining a dialogue between the UK and Armenia on defence matters and offering training and development to the Armenian armed forces.

Consular Section

HM Consul - Gareth Wynn Owen

Provides assistance to British nationals in and visiting Armenia.
